Software operators actually own.
Darkwyre is an engineering company building self-contained, self-hosted software for security and command operations. Our platforms run on your own infrastructure — so the people who depend on them fully own both the tools and the data.
Capability without dependency
Too much critical software assumes a permanent link to someone else's cloud. For security and command work, that assumption is a liability. Darkwyre builds the opposite: focused platforms that install on hardware you control, keep running when the network doesn't, and never send your data anywhere you didn't choose.
We would rather ship a smaller system you can fully audit than a larger one you have to take on faith.
How we engineer
- Radical self-containment. Minimal dependencies and no hidden services — a smaller supply chain to trust and patch.
- Security by construction. Access control, CSRF protection, hardened sessions and audit trails are part of the core, not an afterthought.
- Live by default. Real-time updates over server-sent events, so the picture reflects reality now.
- Explainable over clever. Inspectable logic instead of opaque models, so decisions can be reviewed.
- Data sovereignty. Self-hosted, always — your infrastructure, your data.
The market is moving to software you own.
Four shifts are pulling defense, government and critical-infrastructure buyers away from shared clouds — and toward exactly the self-hosted posture Darkwyre is built on.
Data sovereignty is non-negotiable
Classification, residency and geopolitical risk are pushing sensitive missions off public clouds and back to systems they fully control.
Defense is modernizing at the edge
Programs increasingly demand modular, open, software-defined capability that runs forward and disconnected — the MOSA, self-contained model.
Cloud repatriation is real
Cost, control and latency are bringing workloads back on-prem — but the software to run modern operations there has lagged. That's the gap.
AI has to run in-boundary
As buyers adopt AI decision-support, they need it inside their perimeter, not a vendor's cloud. Our model-agnostic, self-hosted seam is built for it.
Two products, two different jobs
Command Center and DarkwyreUAM are separate applications for separate missions — each self-hosted, each run independently.
